Behind the company are three directors with more than 50 years of combined experience in events, event technology, operations and onsite delivery. That experience shapes how we evaluate technology, manage projects and support the people who trust us to deliver.

Our directors have worked together across event technology, operations and live delivery—from the early development of event apps to supporting complex technology in real event environments.

Phil O'Brien
Founder
Phil previously founded Concise, an event technology company responsible for developing one of the earliest event apps. His experience spans the evolution of digital event technology and the practical realities of introducing new ideas into live environments.
Mark Evans
Co-founder and CEO
Mark joined Concise and progressed to Operations Director before moving to global events company Encore. At Encore, he established a department focused on virtual support and training for event technology, combining operational leadership with the development of new ways to support clients and delivery teams.
Colin Durell
Director of Operations
Colin was Onsite Manager at Concise, leading the delivery of technology in live environments where reliability and practical execution mattered most. His extensive onsite experience informs StepWISE's approach to installation, testing, live support and operational detail.
